Abstract

Synchronously with the inception of Baker’s seminal paper (1995) on corpora and Translation and the rapid advances of technology, we have observed an exponential upturn in the emergence of cutting-edge and hot off-press books in this fast-growing field of knowledge (See for Example Youdale, 2019; Vasheghani Farahani, 2022). From among the top tier and trailblazing books in the strand of corpus-based translation studies is the trendsetter one under the editorship of Granger & Aude Lefer published by Bloomsbury in 2022. Structurally formulated in 5 well- thought- parts further subsumed into 9 relevant chapters, at first impression, it becomes immediately discernable that in a nascent call to push the boundaries of the critical nexus between corpora and translation, the authors of this gripping book have been successful in concretizing their concerted efforts in striking a harmonious equilibrium between theory and practice as well as convening a lineup of preeminent and high profile researchers and scholars to produce a timely contribution which comes to offer a wide range of synthesized topics revolving the thematic issue of corpora in translation research.

گسترش دامنه مطالعات ترجمه مبتنی بر پیکره

Abstract [Persian]

همزمان با انتشار کار تأثیرگذار بیکر (1995) در مورد مجموعه‌ها و ترجمه و پیشرفت سریع مربوطه در فناوری، انتشارات جدید منتشر شده و بسیار نوآورانه در این حوزه تخصص که به سرعت در حال گسترش است، گسترش چشمگیری داشته است (به Youdale، 2019 مراجعه کنید. واشقانی فراهانی، 1391 برای مثال های گویا). یکی از آثار مهم در مطالعات ترجمه مبتنی بر پیکره، جلد پیشگامی است که توسط Granger & Aude Lefer ویرایش شده و توسط Bloomsbury در سال 2022 منتشر شده است، که به طور گسترده به عنوان یک مشارکت پیشگام در این زمینه شناخته می شود. این متن ترکیب ساختاری کتابی را ارائه می‌کند که هدف آن جابجایی مرزهای پیوند انتقادی بین مجموعه‌ها و ترجمه است. این کتاب از پنج بخش مجزا تشکیل شده است که بیشتر به 9 فصل مرتبط تقسیم شده است. پس از بررسی اولیه، آشکار می شود که نویسندگان موفق به ایجاد تعادل هماهنگ بین عناصر نظری و عملی شده اند. علاوه بر این، آنها مجموعه‌ای از محققان و محققان برجسته را جمع‌آوری کرده‌اند تا مشارکتی به‌موقع ارائه کنند که طیف وسیعی از موضوعات مرتبط با موضوع موضوعی مجموعه‌ها در تحقیقات ترجمه را ترکیب می‌کند. در بخش اول این نشریه، تمرکز اصلی بر معضلاتی است که همزمان با آن مواجه می‌شویم و احتمالات آتی مربوط به مجموعه‌ها، و کارکرد برجسته آنها در حوزه مطالعات ترجمه است.
